Step Up Salons, (“Step Up Salon”, “we” or “us”) provides this Privacy Policy to inform users (“you”, “Users”, “Clients” or “Beauty Professionals”) including stylists; hair, beauty, health and wellness professionals; salons; salon owners, and any employee of such salons (whether or not such employee independently registered for the Services) our policies and procedures regarding the collection, use and disclosure of personally identifiable information received from Users of this website (the “Website”) and all other products and services, including mobile applications, owned, controlled or offered by Step Up Salon, and all content offered as a part thereof (the “Services”). This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason, at our sole discretion. We will notify you of any material changes to our Privacy Policy by posting the new Privacy Policy on our Website. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes. By using or accessing the Website or the Services, you are accepting the practices described in this Privacy Policy, and you are consenting to our processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by us. This Privacy Policy is incorporated into, and considered a part of, Step Up Salon’s Terms and Conditions.

Personal Data: We collect personal data from you when you voluntarily choose to register with Step Up Salon, when you use the Services, and when you send Step Up Salon or Users information or communications in connection with your use of the Services. We use the personal data that we collect in order to provide and improve our Services, and as otherwise set forth in this Privacy Policy and in our Terms and Conditions. Examples of personal data may include, but are not limited to, first name, last name, business name and information, address, email address, telephone number, birth date, business license, appointment information, location, IP address, billing and credit card information, as well as any other non-public information that may be associated with or linked to any of the foregoing data

Third Party Personal Data: Step Up Salon may collect information, including personal information, that others provide about you when they use the Step Up Salon Platform and the Payment Services, or obtain information from other sources and combine that with information we collect through the Step Up Salon Services. We do not control, supervise or respond for how the third parties providing your information process your Personal Information, and any information request regarding the disclosure of your personal information to us should be directed to such third parties.

Third Party Services: If you link, connect, or login to your Step Up Salon Account with a third party service (e.g. Google, Facebook, Instagram, or LiveChat), the third party service may send us information such as your registration, friends list, and profile information from that service. This information varies and is controlled by that service or as authorized by you via your privacy settings at that service.

Use of Personal Data: Step Up Salon uses the personal data you provide in a manner that is consistent with this Privacy Policy or with any applicable service-specific agreement. If you provide personal data for a certain reason, we may use the personal data in connection with the reason for which it was provided. For instance, we will use the personal data you input during the registration process to administer access to the Services and, if applicable, publish information about Beauty Professionals and Salons rentals on the Website or Services. We may also use the information Beauty Professionals submit about Clients or affiliated Beauty Professionals to send Salon Owners emails or SMS messages at such Professional’s direction via the Services. We may also contact Beauty Professionals Clients to tell them about products and services that the Salon Owners may offer and to further promote the Salon Owners Rental Services. We may send Users marketing communications. We will give Users the opportunity to opt out of receiving communications from Step Up Salon.

Customer Credit Card Information: Step Up Salon uses a third party to keep a protected copy of your credit card number. This billing data belongs to you, and by utilizing the Service, you grant Step Up Salon a license to use this data to bill you for services rendered.

The Payments Data Controller needs to collect the following information, as it is necessary for the adequate performance of the contract with you and to comply with applicable law (such as anti-money laundering regulations). Without it, you will not be able to use Payment Services:

• Payment Information. When you use the Payment Services, the Payments Data Controller requires certain financial information (like your bank account or credit card information) in order to process payments and comply with applicable law.
• Identity Verification and Other Information. If you are a Host, the Payments Data Controller may require identity verification information (such as images of your government issued ID, passport, national ID card, or driving license) or other authentication information, your date of birth, your address, email address, phone number and other information in order to verify your identity, provide the Payment Services to you, and to comply with applicable law.
• Payment Transaction Information. Step Up Salon Payments collects information related to your payment transactions through Step Up Salon, including the payment instrument used, date and time, payment amount, payment instrument expiration date and billing postcode, PayPal email address, your address and other related transaction details. This information is necessary for the adequate performance of the contract between you and PayPal Payments and to allow the provision of the Payment Services.

Personal non-identifying Information: We may collect personally non-identifiable information from you at the time of registration, or when you choose to use certain of our Services. This information is not, by itself, sufficient to identify or contact Users. Examples include but are not limited to demographic data, age, education level, profession, geographic location or gender. Step Up Salon may store such information, or it may be included in databases owned and maintained by Step Up Salon ‘s affiliates, agents or service providers. The Services may use such information and pool it with other information to track, for example, the total number of visitors to our Website and Mobile application the domain names of our visitors’ Internet service providers. It is important to note that no personal data is available or used in this process.

When you interact with us through the Services, we receive and store certain additional, personally non-identifiable information. Such information, which is collected passively using various technologies, cannot presently be used to specifically identify you. Examples include IP addresses, browser types, domain names, date and time of page views, location information associated with your IP address, your interactions to an ad delivered by us or our ad technology partners and other anonymous statistical data involving your use of the Website and/or our services.

Personal Data: In an ongoing effort to better understand our Users, we might analyze the personal data that is provided through the Services in aggregate form. This aggregate information does not identify Users personally. We may share this aggregate data with our affiliates, agents and business partners. We may also disclose aggregated user statistics in order to describe our services to current and prospective business partners, and to other third parties for other lawful purposes.

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on someone’s past visits to the Website. Google reserves the right to display to users which remarketing lists users are on, along with the corresponding domain name. SHARING & DISCLOSURE

We use the information we collect from our Services to provide, maintain, protect and improve them, to develop new services, and to protect Step Up Salon and our Users. We also use this information to offer you tailored content – like giving you more relevant search results and ads. We won’t share Users’ personal information with anyone except for the situations listed below or unless we specifically inform you and give you an opportunity to opt out of our sharing your personal information.

Advertising and Social Media; Sharing With Your Consent.

We may use certain limited personal information about you, such as your email address, to hash it and to share it with social media platforms, such as Facebook or Google, to generate leads, drive traffic to our websites or otherwise promote our products and services. These processing activities are based on our legitimate interest in undertaking marketing activities to offer you products or services that may be if your interest.

The social media platforms with which we may share your personal information are not controlled or supervised by Step Up Salon. Therefore, any questions regarding how your social media service provider processes your personal information should be directed to such provider.

Sharing between Members.

To help facilitate bookings or other interactions between Members, we may need to share certain information, including personal information, with other Members, as it is necessary for the adequate performance of the contract between you and us, as follows:

• When you as a Guest submit a booking request, certain information about you is shared with the Host, including your profile, full name, your cancellation history, and other information you agree to share. When your booking is confirmed, we will disclose additional information to assist with coordinating the travel.
• When you as a Host have a confirmed booking, certain information is shared with the Guest to coordinate the booking, such as your profile, full name, and Accommodation or Experience address.

We don’t share your billing and payout information with other Members.

User Profiles, Salon Listings, and other Public Information.

Step Up Salon lets you publish information, including personal information, that is visible to the general public. For example:

• Parts of your public profile page, such as your first name, your description, and city, are publicly visible to others.
• Listing pages are publicly visible and include information such as the Accommodation or Experience’s approximate location (neighborhood and city) or precise location (where you have provided your consent), Listing description, calendar availability, your public profile photo, aggregated demand information (like page views over a period of time), and any additional information you choose to share.
• After completing a booking, Guests and Hosts may write Reviews and rate each other. Reviews and Ratings are a part of your public profile page and may also be surfaced elsewhere on the Step Up Salon Website or mobile application.
• If you submit content in a community or discussion forum, blog or social media post, or use a similar feature on the Step Up Salon site, that content is publicly visible.

Based on our legitimate interest to promote Step Up Salon we may display parts of your Listing page on sites operated by Step Up Salon’s business partners, using technologies such as widgets or APIs. If your Listings are displayed on a partner’s site, information from your public profile page may also be displayed.

We may share your personal information with:

Authorized service providers: Our authorized service providers are companies that perform certain services on our behalf. These services may include, but are not limited to, fulfilling orders, processing credit card payments, delivering packages, providing customer service and marketing assistance, performing business and sales analyses, supporting the functionality of the Services, and supporting contests, sweepstakes, surveys and other features we offer. These service providers may have access to User’s personal information to the extent necessary to perform their functions, but we do not allow them to share or use any of your personal information for any other purpose.

Step Up Salon affiliates: We may share information we collect, including personal information, with Step Up Salon-owned or affiliated businesses. Sharing information with our affiliates enables us to provide you with information about a variety of products and services that might interest you.

Business partners: We may share User’s personal information with the merchants offering the products, services, promotions, contests and/or sweepstakes. We will not share your personal information with these businesses unless you choose to participate in their offer or program. When you choose to engage in a particular offer or program, you authorize us to share your email address and other information with the relevant merchant.

Contact: When you contact us, we may keep a record of your communication to help solve any issues you might be facing. We may use your email address to inform you about our Services, such as letting you know about upcoming changes or improvements.

Other Situations: We also may disclose your information:

• In response to a subpoena or similar investigative demand, a court order, or a request for cooperation from a law enforcement or other government agency; to establish or exercise our legal rights; to defend against legal claims; or as otherwise required by law. We will not share your personal data:

• To send Google or third party companies precise location information without obtaining your consent.

Children: The Website and our related Services are not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13. Children aged 13 or older should not submit any personal information without the permission of their parents or guardians. By using the Website and our related Services, you are representing that you are at least 18.
